XDMS has been designed to optimize the return of fleet management and renting activities. It manages the availability of vehicles or machines, including when working in a multi-location environment and keeps track of the history of a vehicle or machine, including the damage history.

The system allows sending out periodical invoices, which will be automatically generated based on renting contracts containing all relevant information: in- and out date, preventive service, insurances, pricing per hour/day/week/weekend/month/year. It includes a penalty calculation system for articles which are not returned in time, or at the agreed location.

Finally, the integrated management information features of XDMS allow maximizing the return of a fleet management or renting activity by drilling down on almost any required dimension.
